The Surface will replace both the PC and the laptop for art and all the other things for which I use the older equipment. But, I’m getting a bit more serious and paid for a basic video course taught by Aaron Rutten, which I’ve been struggling through.
I haven’t used it much because it is so daunting! I bought it through a special deal Corel offered to GraphicsSuite users, so, again, not at retail price. My art (drawing/painting) software is Corel Painter 2022. I don’t know what PSPmeans with Corel, though. It was legit so I was able to upgrade when I felt the need and had the money. I bought my first copy in the early 1990’s on Ebay for a fraction of retail because it was two generations older than the then-current version. Both were upgrades so I didn’t pay full retail. and the new replacements take time to get used to – I just like al my new ones as much as the old! You said in the Ukraine image that you used CoreDraw – what version is that? I loved CorelDraw until they changed to PSP – and now they want us to upgrade every year! I really cannot afford to replace them all, so I’ve ordered a Surface Pro 8 with Slimpen 2. My Huion 1409 drawing tablet pen no longer connects to the tablet. My PC keeps losing connectivity with wired and wireless devices. Maybe because I gave it a rain shower last summer? It has been incrementally losing functionality since then. My laptop turns itself on and off whenever a mood strikes it.
